To
Justice Usha Mehra Ji,
National Commission to Examine the Issue
of Sub-Categorisation of SCs in AP,
Room No. 311, Swarnamukhi Block,
A.P. Bhavan, No.1, Ashoka Road,
New Delhi – 110 001.

Sub: Rationalization of SC Reservations – Req. – Reg.

Dear Madam,

At the outset, we express our gratitude for taking up Enquiry Commission for looking into Rationalization of SC Reservations in Andhra Pradesh.

In this regard, though the commission is making efforts to complete the enquiry, finalisation and submission of report has not yet taken place.

On the other hand, we have already lost 3 academic years deprived of equidistribution of reservation benefits and we are on the verge of another academic year to loose the benefits. Apart from that, the APPSC has launched recruitment of Group I and II as well as police and teachers where we are likely to be deprived of the benefits. Unless the constitutional amendment is made in the present parliament session, it will not be possible to prevent deprival of equidistribution of reservation benefits from the present academic admissions and recruitment of posts.

Keeping in view the continued unequal distribution of reservations among the SCs, we request you to finalize and submit the report at an early date to enable the Parliament to make constitutional amendment in the present parliament session, so that we start reaping equidistribution of reservation benefits immediately.

Thanking you Madam,

Yours Sincerely

(P. Krupakar Madiga) (Rayikanti Ramdas Madiga) (Adi Gopala Rao Madiga)
State President, MRPS State Gen. Sec., MRPS State President, MEF
